• L-glutamine

• phenol red
• sodium bicarbonate

without

• HEPES
• antibiotics

• DMEM requires additional culture additives such as fetal bovine serum. 
• It uses a sodium bicarbonate buffer system and therefore requires a 5% ~ 10% CO₂ environment to maintain physiological pH.
• It‘s a low-glucose type (1000 mg/L) and supports the cultivation of various mammalian cells, including primary fibroblasts, neurons, gliocytes, HUVECs and smooth muscle cells, as well as cell lines such as HeLa, 293, Cos-7 and PC-12.
