The buffering capacity of TBE Nucleic Acid Running Buffer is strong to be used for long-term electrophoresis. And the separation result would be batter if it is used for electrophoresis of fragments less than 1 kb.
- The product is not suitable as an electrophoresis buffer in experiment related to gel extraction because it will reduce the recovery rate of DNA fragments. This product is a 5×TBE pre-prepared concentrated solution. There is no need to prepare the solution or adjust the pH. It can be directly diluted with purified water to 1× or 0.5× and used directly for electrophoresis.
